Computers for Kids & Books for Primary Schools Competition
It is with great pleasure that I am able to announce the launch of our 'books for primary schools' and 'computers for kids' competition.
At lostpetlocator, we wanted to provide a fun, yet beneficial competition for the primary schools and their pupils in Leeds, West Yorkshire (as that's where we're based) and across the whole of the UK. With this in mind, we're running two competitions!
We know that children love animals and the competition is a chance for all budding artists of primary school age (in the UK) to draw a picture of their favourite animal or pet. The winning pupil of the regional and national competition will receive a brand new laptop and also win their school £500.00 worth of books!
COMPETITION ENTRY
Entering the competition is simple - if you're a member of teaching staff, a parent or a pupil, simply speak to the head of your school. If they're happy for the school to participate, all they need to do is arrange for their IT department to copy and paste the link below in to the home page of the schools website and email us with a point of contact, clearly stating in the subject line 'Leeds competition' or 'UK competition.' This will make it easy for everyone involved to read about the competition and in the future, keep up-to-date with our regular school competitions.

Once all of the 'technical stuff' is done, it's time to get the kids drawing and painting! We'd like the schools to judge their individual entries and submit the winning work of art by scanning and emailing it back to us, NO LATER THAN 26/02/2010. We'll judge the overall winners the following week and contact the relevant schools. It really is that easy!
So don't delay, we can't wait to see those pictures!
